What we are

ExitMyTimeshare is an independent information and referral site for US timeshare owners who want out. We are not a law firm, not an exit company, and not affiliated with any developer. Our guide leads with the free and cheap options — rescission, developer deed-backs, genuine resale — because that's the honest order of operations, even though nobody pays us when you take them.

How we're paid

When an owner's situation genuinely needs professional help — loans attached, developer refusals, misrepresentation claims — we refer them to vetted exit providers or law firms, who may pay us a referral fee. Owners never pay us. Vetting means: years of verifiable operating history, written fee agreements, escrow or funded guarantees, attorney involvement for legal disputes, and a complaint record that shows resolution, not abandonment.

Our editorial line

Costs and timelines on this site are labeled as indicative ranges, scam warnings follow FTC guidance, and we'd rather lose a referral than steer a Wyndham owner with a paid-off deed away from Certified Exit. Corrections: use the contact page.

Tell us your situation. We'll match you with a vetted timeshare exit specialist or attorney for a free consultation — and we'll tell you honestly if your developer's own exit program is the better path (it's often free).

By submitting, you agree to be contacted by phone, email or text about your enquiry (consent is not a condition of purchase), and to your details being shared with a vetted exit provider or law firm as described in our privacy policy.
